This event is a fun, community climbing competition. Our mission each and every year is to provide a great experience for our members and locals of all skill levels. If you are coming from out of town we want to warmly welcome you. All comp questions can be directed to Staff@urbanaboulders.com

NOTE: Participation is capped at 180 competitors. Early registration is encouraged to secure a spot. BBC has SOLD OUT the past 7 Years. Sign up early.

Individual Social and Competitive Divisions

Men’s/Women’s/Non-Binary for Recreational Intermediate Advanced and Open Divisions

Recreational – V1-V3
Intermediate – V3-V5
Advanced – V5-V7
Open – V7+

StoneMasters - Ages 40 and up

For a Social and/or Competitive individual this is the category for you! Whether you’ve come for funzies or want to test yourself against the rest. Scored by your top 6 climbs in the 2.5 hour period.

BONEMASTERs

Total points division. Climb as many problems as possible.

Men/Women

Want to get a taste of everything? Become this years Bonemaster for all the bragging rights.

Teams of 4. Must all sign up at once. Are you extra Social? Take tour team and score your top climbs together.

** You sign up for your division only on event day.

*** Your division should be selected day of based on your “general session maximum” at Urbana Boulders and Boneyard Bouders. If you need help selecting an appropriate category, that assistance will be available on competition day. Don’t over think it. If you’re climbing way above the your selected division, you’ll be bumped up a division. We hope your satisfaction comes by challenging yourself and friends and our hope is to make it engaging for everyone.

**** Competitors can only compete in ONE event Category (Social and Competitive Individual, Bonemasters, or Team)

We will be splitting the competition into multiple sessions to decrease congestion.

2026 Spectators and Viewing

Due to our extremely limited space we are charging $10 for all spectators and guardians (except for AM YOUTH session). There are just too many people for the event every year and we want to prioritize the competitors and the UB/BB Community. Note that this ticket does not include any competitor perks or T-shirt.

Finals

Finals are an additional round of climbing selected from the initial Adult AM and PM sessions.

This year we will be selecting the top 5 in each AM and PM division to compete in finals.

WAIVER

All participants are required to complete a UB/BB Gym waiver prior to the day of the competition. If you have not ever completed a UB/BB waiver, or are unsure, please take a moment to fill one out HERE. If you are under the age of 18, your waiver must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
